Head of mentees

Who are we?

Conflux is a mentorship program made for students by students. Since we were founded in 2019, we have matched over 300 STEM students in our free 1:1 mentorship program with professionals from the industry.

If a student wants to become a manager, we’ll match them with a manager. Same thing if they want to become a researcher. Or an executive. We help them learn from an expert and hopefully reach their goal sooner than they otherwise would. And for people who don’t have the network already, that’s difficult to find otherwise.

The team behind it

We are a team of 9 student volunteers, funded by Tuborg Fondet running the mentorship program. We recruit professionals, find interested students and run one of the biggest mentorship programs in Denmark – all while having fun.

ARE YOU OUR NEXT HEAD OF MENTEES?

We are currently looking for a new board member to overtake the communication and recruitment of mentees. And that’s where you come in, our new Head of Mentees.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is social, well-liked among their peers and comfortable with public speaking
• Thrives with responsibility and wants to shape our program on the new universities
• Wants to help impact students by giving them the opportunity to get a mentor
• Is studying at either DTU, ITU, AAU-CPH or SDU Odense
• Wants to be a part of a great team of students
• Has 3-5 effective hours per week that they want to put to good use

Your responsibilities will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

• Recruiting students & bringing awareness of the program
• Connecting with stakeholders from our partner universities
• Communicating with participants in the program and possibly speaking at events
• Ensuring that mentees have a good experience with the program
