Technical University of Denmark (DTU) - B.Sc., Civil / Structural Engineering

Christian has 4 years of experience working with offshore energy and detailed designs of foundations for offshore wind farms. Christian believes that it is possible to create a world that runs entirely on green energy. Through his work, he is proud to be able to contribute to the technological advances and development of offshore wind farms in Ørsted. For two years before that, he was employed at ISC Consulting Engineers in Copenhagen, doing the detailed design of substructures for offshore substations (jackets and monopiles). Christian has gained a theoretical background in applied mechanics, structural dynamics, offshore structures and the implementation of FE-models as well as steel- and concrete structures. Next to this, he has a big passion for programming and optimization of structures, and he has been working extensively with ROSAP (Rambøll Offshore Structural Analysis Programs) since 2016.

Christian wants to become a mentor because he loves to pass on knowledge and help others develop and succeed. Since 2011, he has given several lectures at his old high school to help and guide young students in choosing their career paths. Giving inspiration passing on first-hand knowledge to the next generation is essential.
A mentee should be active, dedicated and curious. Grades etc. are not important to him, only the dedication and will to learn something and succeed.
