Michael has 5+ years of experience within academia and the pharmaceutical industry. He started out his career as an (industrial) Ph.D. student and researcher, and then later transitioned into a process chemist and production engineer in some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Denmark, including Lundbeck, Novo Nordisk, and currently Xellia Pharmaceuticals. Michael has a broad background in GMP manufacturing, and specialization within equipments, reactor design, process design, and maintenance. He has also worked with project management for API process validation and lead equipment SME who has coordinated over 20 projects. Michael describes himself as passionate about cross-functional collaboration in an interdisciplinary project, with a proven ability to lead, communicate and work with various teams and people from different backgrounds.


Michael finds it highly rewarding to support and help others in achieving their goals and unlocking the unknown potential to succeed. He has been a mentor for a couple of years both a DTU and IDA, and he sees it as a good practice for his own aspiration as well within people management and network building. Michael is looking for a mentee who is ambitious and willing to learn more about themselves in order to develop and grow.
