Our team

At Conflux we are always looking for talented people to join our organization. We’re a volunteer-driven initiative helping students connect with mentors from the industry. We are searching for people who are pleasant to be around, take ownership and are passionate about making a difference.

In exchange we can offer loads of learning, relevant real-world experience, and fun social activities with a team that’s as ambitious as you are – and just as fun to hang out with.

Current open positions

Co-head of Finance

What we are looking for:

  • Strong overview
  • Thrives with responsibility
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets

Your responsibilities:

This will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

  • Ensuring our finances are kept in check
  • Assisting in reporting taxes and VAT to authorities and ensuring that important deadlines are met
  • Assisting in fundraising

Expected workload:

≈ 1-2 hrs/week

Co-head of Events

What we are looking for:

  • Someone that is good with people and planning
  • Thrives with responsibility and wants to help shape our program and create kick-ass events
  • Wants to help foster a strong bond in the community and between the mentors and mentees

Your responsibilities:

This will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

  • Planning and executing our three flagship mentorship events (Oct, Jan, Mar)
  • Managing the workshops, logistics and catering for the events
  • Coordinating with the speakers and stakeholders

Expected workload:

≈ 4–6 hrs prep per event

Head of Technology

What we are looking for:

  • Good technical and process understanding
  • Thrives with responsibility and wants to help improve our current setup
  • Wants to provide a better experience for mentors, mentees and our internal crew

Your responsibilities:

This will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

  • Brainstorming new ideas and ways to create a better experience for mentees, mentors or our internal crew
  • Improving our setup via automations, new tools or additions to our webpage
  • Making changes to our current site, automations and tools

Expected workload:

≈ 1-2 hrs/week

Head of Campus DTU

What we are looking for:

  • Someone that is social and well-liked among their peers
  • Thrives with responsibility and wants to shape our program on the university
  • Wants to help impact students by giving them the opportunity to get a mentor

Your responsibilities:

This will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

  • Connecting with stakeholders from your university
  • Organizing info sessions and pitching to study lines
  • Recruiting mentees & volunteers at DTU

Expected workload:

≈ 20 hrs in Aug–Sep, then ongoing support

Head of Campus ITU

What we are looking for:

  • Someone that is social and well-liked among their peers
  • Thrives with responsibility and wants to shape our program on the university
  • Wants to help impact students by giving them the opportunity to get a mentor

Your responsibilities:

This will be chosen based on your skills and interests, but might be something like:

  • Connecting with stakeholders from your university
  • Organizing info sessions and pitching to study lines
  • Recruiting mentees & volunteers at ITU

Expected workload:

≈ 15 hrs in Aug–Sep, then ongoing support
