Edoardo Magnanini
Position:
R&D Hardware Engineer at Agilent Technologies
I am a biomedical engineer with 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, currently working as an R&D hardware engineer in the life sciences and diagnostics sector. My work involves developing and refining staining instruments used in pathology and clinical diagnostics. I’ve worked across the full lifecycle of engineering projects—from concept to delivery—with experience in design iteration, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. I’m very patient with tedious tasks and with others, but often impatient with myself—which keeps me moving.
Motivation
I’ve changed paths several times in both my studies and career, and I’d like to support someone who feels uncertain or stuck. It’s okay not to have everything figured out, and I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned—and haven’t learned—along the way.
