Technical University of Denmark (DTU) - Bachelor’s Degree, Earth and Space Physics and Engineering
I have experience in both spacecraft engineering and the medical device industry, which has given me insight into how technical skills can be applied across very different fields – from space technology to developing safe and secure medical devices.
Today, I work with software and firmware development under IVDR regulations, focusing on scalable design, cybersecurity, and acting as a bridge between technical teams, regulatory experts, and business needs. I also work in agile setups as a product owner, guiding projects that involve large data transfers and system security.
Because I’ve moved between industries, I enjoy helping students see how their competencies can be transferred and applied in different settings. I can also support students in navigating the transition from being a student to becoming a full-time professional – from understanding workplace dynamics to building confidence in new roles.
Motivation
I have a strong interest in guiding people in their careers, which I first discovered while working with newly graduated colleagues in my design control role. I value using my psychological insight to help others reflect on their goals, explore their passions, and gain a clearer understanding of what they truly want.
Having made a career shift myself – from the space industry, which I once believed was my true passion, into the medical device field – I know the importance of staying open-minded. I hope to inspire others to think outside the box when considering their own career paths and to support them in discovering what truly drives them.
