15+ years of experience in the HW & SW design industries, with particular emphasis on embedded and high availability systems. My career spanned from very technical hands on positions at first, such as embedded SW programmer, HW schematics and PCB designing, systems engineering all the way to now later management positions, such as team lead, project manager and director. I have worked for companies from 10 to 200 employees, and managed teams from 1 to 15 collaborators. I have been employed in Denmark throughout those years, but I have interfaced only with international customers, and the teams were generally very culturally and geographically diverse.
I feel I have reached a position in my career where I can give a full overview of the work field in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, from very technical roles all the way to management roles, and the trade-offs and perks associated with each stages of the way. Additionally, since I am a father, I believe I can also give some insight on how to balance your career and work time with the needs of your own social and home demands.
