Technical University of Denmark (DTU) - MSc Electrical Engineering

I thrive with building up new business – new sales. Having more than 25 years of broad IT-, consultative sales- and management experience along with strong customer relations in the business community, I have successfully increased businesses by understanding customer needs to tailor the best solutions for them. I am used to working cross border in international companies with customers and colleagues inside as well as outside Denmark. Having a Master of Science in electronic engineering makes me understand customers’ sometimes more technical challenges.

Motivation

I have been a mentor for some years for young engineers from DTU, primarily in their first jobs, facing different challenges/considerations:
– “Have I chosen the right career path?”
– “How do I get to my dream position from where I am now?”
– “My manager/colleague is difficult to understand/work with. Why is that/what to do?”

And for mentees looking for their first job:
– “How do I find the right company/the right position for me?”
– “How do I write a successful CV and application for a specific role?”

It is fulfilling for me when my many years of professional experience can be of value for younger people.
