Jacob Bjerregaard

As a Senior Environmental Data Analyst with nearly 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, I bring a broad and hands-on perspective to sustainability in complex manufacturing environments. I have had several roles during this time, both in consultancy designing production facilities and processes — ranging from small-scale setups to very large, multi-stakeholder projects — and in production oriented functions working directly alongside production lines, navigating the real-world challenges and constraints of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Over the past decade, my focus has increasingly sharpened on environmental sustainability, particularly in identifying and driving optimization opportunities. In my current role, I tackle the critical issue of water withdrawal at both the enterprise and site levels. Through strategic data collection, metering strategies, and data analysis, I provide decision support that informs both local operations and global strategic planning.

I am specialized in the agriculture industry specifically on indoor and vertical farming technologies. I worked in project management, engineering, and had experience in sales both in Denmark and Italy.
I have a background in Energy, Civil and Industrial engineering. In the past 3 years I have been mentor of Master thesis and worked on other university projects as external supervisor.

Niels Dyreborg Nielsen

My key passion is to accelerate the green transition by combining my knowhow of energy technologies and markets with concise communicate and outgoing nature.
I recently graduated from DTU in 2017 with a MSc. in Physics and afterwards did a PhD at DTU Chemical Engineering ending in 2020. During my DTU time, I was engaged in the DTU Dancing and was assistant teacher multiple times thus helping others to succeed and perform is close to my heart.
My career took me to the Danish Energy Agency, where I as project leader and energy consultant collaborated interdisciplinary with authorities, knowledge institutions, industry associations etc. to accelerate the green transition. My green dedication continued as I progressed to chief consultant in the knowledge center called Danish Center for Energy Storage and now in the engineering consultancy company NIRAS.
Besides my professional career, I am an active person who like to run, train, play music, dance and travel.

Mariana is a Principal at Biobridge Partners, a Life Science Strategy Consultancy based out of Copenhagen

Mariana brings 20 years of experience in management consulting within the life science industry, focusing on strategy, transformation, and operations at Deloitte, Bayer, and several clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. She has led transformative initiatives in areas such as strategic planning, new product and service introductions, operating model improvements, customer experience & analytics, and sustainability. Mariana has a proven track record of successfully collaborating with regional and global teams across the United States, Latin America, and Europe to achieve ambitious goals.

Mariana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of North Carolina and an MBA in Marketing, Analytical Consulting and Biotechnology from Kellogg School of Management.

Henrik G. Pedersen

15+ years of experience from the contractor side in large and small companies in Denmark.
Graduated from DTU in 2007.
Passionate about project development of construction projects based on early client involvement and design-build/turnkey contracts, as well as overall business operations. Has broad execution experience, especially with construction works (concrete, steel, soilworks, demolition etc.) and renovation projects in general. Has broadly developed, cost calculated and completed projects for commercial to pharma to renovations up to +600m DKK for Danish, as international customers. In addition, I work with customer relations, corporate strategy, team composition, sustainability implementation, etc.

Lars Mikkel Johannessen

Mikkel Johannessen is a seasoned international consultant and team leader specialized in all process of the project cycle ranging from identification, formulation and appraisal to evaluation, monitoring and reviews of a wide range of development settings, following international organizations guidelines, including the Danida Aide Management Guidelines. Mikkel is specialized in climate change, water and renewable energy with more than 31 years of international experience working with complex development processes in emerging economies. He has extensive experience working with and for the private and public sector from working in 7 countries in Asia, 8 countries in Africa, 7 countries in the Americas and 6 countries in Europe. Experience includes: Leading smaller and larger teams in development processes; Assessment and development of institutions and organizations capacities; Concept development of water, renewable energy, climate and green growth programs; Process management in development of complex strategies, projects and programs; Results management and impact evaluation of programs for sustainable development in emerging economies; Facilitation of workshops on strategy and vision/mission development

Lasse Sørensen

Jens Ulrik Jensen

Civil engineer and master in environmental law with over 25 years of experience in environmental administration and consultancy.
Ulrik’s main competences lie within policy development, negotiation and the implementation of environmental regulation, including contact and negotiation with authorities. Ulrik’s professional specialties are IPPC/IED, environmental approvals, supervision, planning and EIA, risk companies, and noise.
Ulrik has worked in several countries and has gained his experience from employment in environmental authorities, trade associations, production companies and consulting companies. In his previous employments, Ulrik has participated in international activities as an expert for the EU commission, e.g. in the preparation of the Industrial Emissions Directive.

Anjila Hjalsted

I have 6+ years of experience working in different areas of sustainability from sustainable transport to LCA, carbon footprinting, sustainability reporting and sustainable finance.
I have started and run my own sustainability consulting business, and have also worked in both a medium sized and a Big4 consulting firm, focusing on corporate climate action and sustainable finance. I now work in sustainable finance, in the ESG team at Sampension. My job consists of active ownership, and of leveraging the power of an institutional investor to drive sustainable change. In my professional experience so far, the finance sector presents the biggest opportunity to forward the sustainability agenda, which is why I’m here.
Since graduating from DTU in 2019, I have had 6 different jobs and thus have some, hopefully helpful, experience navigating early career choices. I have worked in Copenhagen and London.
