After 25 years in the manufacturing and IT industry, I believe that decision making process can be improve dramatically by using technology to compute information and letting people to add what can not be modeled.
Machine learning, LMM, decision science, cloud computing are so advance and accessible that use cases are everywhere.
But finding the path that get to value is very hard because it requires soft skill, vision, patience and curiosity.
I am focusing on Wokforce scheduling, manufacturing and Supplier chain for the moment. Those cases are widely available with a positive impact on our society and environment.

I am specialized in the agriculture industry specifically on indoor and vertical farming technologies. I worked in project management, engineering, and had experience in sales both in Denmark and Italy.
I have a background in Energy, Civil and Industrial engineering. In the past 3 years I have been mentor of Master thesis and worked on other university projects as external supervisor.

Morten Riisberg Thomsen

I have over 8 years of experience as a consulting structural engineer. I have primarily worked in small engineering firms, contributing to a wide range of projects in both type and scale.

This has given me broad insight into the Danish building sector — from collaborating with small contractors on simple alterations, such as creating new door openings, to participating in large-scale, multi-year construction projects, and many in between.

I have a strong understanding of the mindset and technical skills required of a modern consulting engineer, particularly when it comes to designing and documenting load-bearing structures in compliance with the Eurocodes and the Danish Building Regulations (Bygningsreglementet).

Henrik G. Pedersen

15+ years of experience from the contractor side in large and small companies in Denmark.
Graduated from DTU in 2007.
Passionate about project development of construction projects based on early client involvement and design-build/turnkey contracts, as well as overall business operations. Has broad execution experience, especially with construction works (concrete, steel, soilworks, demolition etc.) and renovation projects in general. Has broadly developed, cost calculated and completed projects for commercial to pharma to renovations up to +600m DKK for Danish, as international customers. In addition, I work with customer relations, corporate strategy, team composition, sustainability implementation, etc.

Flaviu Popescu

Flaviu is an ambitious civil engineer with expertise in structural design, prefab elements, and integrated building processes. Holding a Master’s in Architectural Engineering from DTU and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Politehnica University of Timisoara, he combines strong technical skills with international experience.

He has worked across engineering consulting and software support, including five years at StruSoft helping clients optimize designs in FEM-Design and PRE-Stress, and now contributes to innovative construction solutions at Ramboll. Known for creativity, problem-solving, and a drive to find the right solution, Flaviu thrives in collaborative, multicultural environments.

Camilla Saabøll Lauridsen

I have 20 years of professional experience and I have mostly been working within the pharmaceutical industry. My background from DTU is within Buildings and I have used my knowledge to take part in design of pharmaceuticals facilities including laboratories, hospitals etc. Throughout my career I have taken on more management roles, starting with project management and transitioning into people management.

Even though Denmark is probably one of the best places for an expat to start their career in, it might not always be easy for international people to face the transition between studies and industry. Being able to help during this process was the main reason that made me register to this program.

I am a materials engineer with a master’s degree in polymer engineering. After my graduation in 2020, I started working in a Danish company focused on micro- and nanofabrication of medical devices for healthcare industry first, and photonic metasurfaces for defence applications currently. My career has revolved around cleanroom fabrication, roll-to-roll production and, more recently, project management, among other tasks.

I am a retired engineer with more than 34 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering. My primary focus has been on transportation sectors, specifically the airport and railway sectors. I have held positions as a design engineer, technical coordinator, and project manager. Additionally, I have a Merkonom and Diplomuddannelse from a business school in Denmark, providing me with an economic understanding of the engineering business.
