I have experience in Life Sciences (Molecular and Medical Biology, Pharmaceuticals) both in clinical and basic research applications for 3+ years. I have been a member of DTU Alumni since 2019, from where I graduated with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering. Since my graduation, I worked in the healthcare industry as a Biosafety
Scientist in London (BioProducts Laboratory Limited) for approximately a year where I was part of the drug safety and efficacy team. Currently, I am on the 3rd year of my PhD which is part of an international joint doctoral degree program called TICARDIO (Marie-Curie scholarship) taking place in two institutions in Center for Thrombosis and Haemostasis (Mainz, Germany) and Aix-University of Marseille (Marseille, France). Through my professional experience so far, I have helped in improving the formulation and safety of drugs already on the market and understanding the challenges of completing a PhD.

I graduated from DTU ten years ago and has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since. I have been on the same site for nine years, working both in Downstream Manufacturing and in Process Engineering as an Equipment Responsible Engineer where I have been troubleshooting and optimizing various purification equipment including low pressure chromatography skids and buffer vessels to ensure equipment readiness and uninterrupted operations.
In October 2021 I took on the position of supervisor for the Engineers that support the daily operations of downstream equipment and I now have a dual role as both specialist and people manager.
I am motivated by making a difference; specifically the safety of the manufacturing associates is very important. As a people manager I am eager to set up the team for success as one team helping each other out.
